Education & Engagement

Wales Gene Park’s Education and Engagement team has extensive experience of delivering a long-standing successful programme of education, engagement, participation, and involvement across a broad range of audiences throughout Wales. Our audiences include:

• The public
• Schools and Colleges
• Health Professionals & Researchers
• Those affected by rare and genetic conditions, including individuals, families, carers, and patient organisations

The E&E team organises & delivers events and public engagement with an aim to enhance understanding of genetics & genomics. Examples of events can be found for each of our audiences above. The team also provides each of the four audiences with the opportunity to join a suitable e-network, to receive correspondence regarding delivery, and newsletters, filled with genetics and genomics-related news, information and events targeted to them.
