Next year, on 23 April 2026, we will be hosting our biggest Genomic Showcase yet at Cardiff City Stadium. This will be a fantastic opportunity for health professionals and the wider public to explore some of the cutting-edge genomic research taking place in Wales and, best of all, it’s completely free!

Save the Date – Sixth Form Genetics and Genomics Conference

Last held in 2023 our Sixth Form Genetics and Genomics Conference is back with a bang.

The day of talks, on Thursday 5th February 2026, provide year 12 and 13 students a chance to hear about some of the cutting-edge genomic research happening across Wales. We will be hearing from researchers, clinicians and engagement professionals across Wales so join us for an amazing day of genomics.

This online session will feature multiple short talks throughout the day so you can drop-in and out as you wish, there is no requirement to attend the entire day. Alongside the talks there will be a chance to ask questions directly to the speakers.
